St. Anne’s Veterinary Group Privacy Statement

At St. Anne’s Veterinary Group we take personal privacy very seriously. The following statement describes the privacy practices we use for all data gathered, stored, processed or distributed by our practice.

Collection and Use of Information

As a veterinary practice, St. Annes Veterinary Group receives information submitted to us by our clients, such as peoples’ names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and products purchased. We use this information to establish which clients need to be sent information about veterinary appointments, animal treatment, outstanding accounts and other veterinary related matters. This information is only held for sufficient time to provide the services requested by our clients and our patients, after which time it is deleted in a way that prevents further contact. This period of time may vary, depending on the treatment recommended for individual patients, but is nominally 36 months following the last recorded treatment event.

Data collected as above is solely for use by this Practice and its direct agents who are assisting in the supply of veterinary services. Personally-identifiable information is not passed on to any third-party, other than those parties used to directly provide accountancy, clinical referral, email, SMS and postal services in the furtherance of the St. Anne’s Veterinary Group providing their veterinary services.

Access to the data stored at the Veterinary Practice may be given on a temporary basis to I.T. support staff in order for them to maintain the Practice’s I.T. infrastructure and for the purpose of providing remote I.T. support. Such access will be from a secure location.

We rigorously observe any indicated preferences concerning the mode of contact and whether contact should be made at all before contacting our clients directly.

Opting Out

Persons may opt out of selected or all contact by informing the Veterinary Practice by email, letter or telephone call.
